How do I get an article from The NY Times?

Answer

The library has full-text access to articles from The NY Times including online edition articles. Articles that appeared in print can be accessed in the database Proquest Historical Newspapers: New York Times. The database provides articles from 1851 to the present, so use the date limiter to specify a particular date or date range.

Online content can be found in US Newsstream. Both databases are on the Databases A-Z list.

Skidmore students and employees can also set up a free account on NYTimes.com to access and see online current content from the newspaper's website.
