How do I search for a book?

Answer

To find books in Scribner Library, use either the library catalog or our discovery search from the library homepage. The library catalog works best if you're searching for print books.  You can search for a specific book by author or title or search for books on a particular topic.

The discovery search is best when searching for print and eBooks.  However, you'll also be searching many of our article databases.  Make sure when searching to click on the "All Filters" tab below the search box.  Underneath the menu "Source Types" check off books (for print books) and eBooks.

The "All Filters" menu of the discovery search with the "Source Types" field opened and "Books" and "eBooks" checked off
