What are course reserves?

Answer

Course reserves are items put on hold for a course by your professor.  These items may include articles or book chapters available electronically as well as physical items like books, DVDs, or CDs put on reserve within the library.  Physical items on open reserve can be used by anyone within the library for any amount of time.  Physical items on closed reserve must be borrowed from the Circulation desk for a limited amount of time.

Reserves are designed to provide students within a class equal access to material.
