What happens if I lose or damage a book or other item?

Answer

Overdue items not returned within 75 days (21 days for DVDs and videos) of their due date will be considered lost and the borrower charged accordingly. As per current policy, all items marked lost will incur a fee totaling the replacement cost as well as a $10 lost item processing fee. Should the items subsequently be returned to the Library, a maximum fine of $25.00 will be imposed and a refund of the difference authorized.

Note: Replacement fees are in addition to fines.
