What is RefWorks?

Answer

RefWorks is an online citation management system that allows you to quickly and easily save, organize, and cite sources for your research.  Once you've created an account, you'll be able to import citations from the library databases, catalog, Google scholar, and other websites then organize them into folders and finally cite them in almost any citation style.

Skidmore students, faculty, and staff can have a RefWorks account. To get started, click here to create an account.  Click on the light gray "Create Account" link on the bottom of the box and use your Skidmore email to create an account.

RefWorks is very user-friendly, but if you need help navigating the site or importing citations into your account, watch the video below, visit the guide, or ask a librarian for help.
