How do I evaluate a website?

Answer

Older evaluation tests and criteria had users mainly evaluate the source itself and information presented on the web page or website.

The Stanford History Education Group researched and developed the best ways to evaluate online sources, coming up with the concept of lateral reading. This is where you leave a website, opening up other tabs to consult other trusted digital sources to see what they have to say about the author and source.
