Should I put a book or periodical back on the shelf?

Answer

If you're finished using a book, journal, magazine, or newspaper in the library, don't put it back on the shelf. Instead, place it on one of the many carts around each floor or just leave it on a table. We keep track of how much an item has been browsed.

If you've checked a book or other item out, make sure to return it to the Circulation desk to remove it from your library account.
