How do I add Lucy Scribner Library to Google Scholar on my computer?

Answer

By adding Lucy Scribner Library to your library links in Google Scholar, you'll be able to see if our library databases provide the full-text of any articles that you find in Google Scholar.

Adding Lucy Scribner Library to Google Scholar

  • Go to Google Scholar
  • Select the menu link adjacent to Google Scholar in the upper left corner  (the three lines)
  •  Select Settings

In Google Scholar, the three "hamburger" bars in the upper left corner has been selected and then the Settings menu that appears in the dropdown menu

  • Select Library Links.
  • Type "Skidmore College" in the search bar and then check "Lucy Scribner Library, Skidmore College - Skidmore Library Fulltext" and "Open WorldCat - Library Search."
  • Click Save

In the Google Scholar Settings, the link "Library Links" is circled, Skidmore College has been typed in the search bar for libraries, and the two links WorldCat and Lucy Scribner Library have been checked off
