What's a Folio, and where is it located?

Answer

Folio is the term often used for an oversized book that doesn't fit on the library's regular shelves.

Most of these books are located on the 4th floor on the Folio shelves.  These shelves allow the books to lay flat without warping. The catalog record for a book will indicate if it is on this shelf.

You may also find folios in our Special Collections and Archives.
