Can the public visit the library?

Answer

Yes!  The public is welcome to visit the library. You can visit any of the floors and use the print collections in the library. Skidmore also provides a guest wifi. However, only current Skidmore students, faculty, and staff have access to the computers and access to our databases and online resources.

We also offer a Town Borrower card that has an annual fee and allows a town borrower the ability to borrow up to 10 checkouts of physical materials. This card does not provide access to online resources.  Visit our Borrowing guidelines to learn more (scroll down for the town borrower option).
