What is the Library of Things?

Answer

Our Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional items that we loan. Things fall into a couple of categories including:

A display is on the first floor of the library across from our open reserves and showcases all of the Things you can borrow.  We also have added to our board games shelf, which is next to the puzzle table on the first floor. To browse all the Things online, you can use the catalog looking at the Library of Things location.  For the board games, you can browse the catalog looking at the Board Games Shelf location.

Patrons can borrow up to 3 Things for 5 day loans (including the board games). Museum passes are separate from the other Things and are loaned for 7 days with a limit of 1 per patron.

A Geiger Counter available from the Library of Things. The counter in a bag with a tag attached and a box next to that with more information.
