What's the difference between the study and meeting rooms?

Answer

Study Rooms

Study rooms are smaller rooms located on floors 1 - 3 of the library and are primarily intended to be used by students for group or individual study. These rooms can only be booked 24 hours in advance using LibCal: https://libcal.skidmore.edu/reserve/spaces/library

  • 1st Floor: 126, 127, 128B, 128C
  • 2nd Floor: 204A, 204B, 204C, 219A, 219B, 219C, 230A, 230B, 230C, 230D

Meeting Rooms

Meeting rooms are located on the 1st and 4th floors of the library. These larger rooms can be reserved by faculty/staff more than 24 hours in advance for meetings (not classes) using the EMS: https://calendar.skidmore.edu/EMSWebApp/

Students can also use meeting rooms when available by reserving them with the touchscreen next to each room.
