How do I request an item for pickup?

Answer

You can place requests for books, DVDs, and other items available in the library by placing a Hold on them.  We'll collect them for you, so you can pick them up at the Circulation desk.

  • Use the Library Catalog to place Holds on items.
  • First, sign into your account by clicking on the Login link on the top right and logging in.
  • Next, search for your items.
  • Click on the title of an item to go into its record.  Scroll to the bottom and click on "Place a Hold" then "Submit Request."
  • If you click on Your Account (top-right), you should see the item listed in your Holds and Recalls.
  • You'll receive an email when your item is ready for pickup at the Circulation desk.
