Why can't I access my New York Times account from Skidmore?

Answer

When faculty, students, and staff sign up for their free New York Times account through Skidmore, their accounts are given expiration dates:

  • Faculty and staff are given 4 year subscriptions.
  • Students are given a subscription up until December 31st of their graduation year.

If these subscriptions expire, they can be renewed by visiting accessnyt.com to pull an updated academic pass.

If you cannot access your New York Times account through Skidmore after you've tried to update it, contact Systems Librarian Mike Paulmeno at mpaulmen@skidmor.edu.
